GAAAH! Oh my stars, I get my hands on Brody and Emery Rose did not disappoint with this story. I felt so much while reading this one that I actually had to put it down a couple of times. I loved the connection that these two had. Not just in the now but that they had a small history together. It was like fate brought them together again. Their banter was beyond priceless as their push and pull kept you on your toes. But the twists and turns and secrets are heartbreaking and jaw dropping. There are so many layers to this story that it makes you not want to put it down but my heart could only take so much at a time!
Overall, I adored this story. The wit, the sass, the passion but also the heart wrenching moments which gave it so much depth. The character build and fluidity was absolutely spot on. I was so wrapped up into this world the author created. Brody had intrigued me from the first book in this series and he is everything I had hoped for and more. Hands down, one of my favorite reads of 2021 so far!
