I have been a huge fan of Evan Grace for some time now and I was so excited to see this story happening. What we got was a raw second chance romance that will keep you on your toes with all the twists and turns! Lainey is such a fun and unique character. I adore her passion for what she does in life and does not bow to anyone. When she was asked to come home to help with the family business, not in a million years would she think that she would run into the man who destroyed her so many years ago. Ranger is just swoon. When he realizes Lainey is back in his life, it seems like fate has taken over. You can feel that raw emotion between these two as secrets are exposed. My heart hurt for them. I love how fierce he protects her as well when things go crazy in the story!
Overall, I really enjoyed this story. It was emotional and passionate with that level of suspense and so much more involved. Great flow and character build as well as the connection into the Salvation Society world. Highly recommend this one!
