Oh my stars. Nikki Ash once again weaves such a stunning tale. This time it is a friends to lovers one with that surprise pregnancy. But what she does with this one is so emotional and so raw that you cannot help but fall in love with Lexi and Alec. These two just make sense. Their push and pull even as much as they try to deny it to everything else. My heart ached as things progressed. Especially for everything Lexi is going through. But there is just magic between them. It is raw and emotional but the way he holds her up is just everything!

One thing Ash is the master of is building up these emotions while keeping the concept of the surprise pregnancy fresh and unique. I felt what the characters felt. I wanted to just make them happy and nothing would hurt them. Ash took something and created something magical and very real with this story and so far, this series as a whole. I am dying to get my hands on the next one but Alec has really won my heart!
