Oh my stars. K.I. Lynn takes us on a ride of a lifetime! What started as a one night stand turned into something so much more between Atticus and Ophelia. Between the wit and banter that these two have, it is an intense sizzling slow burn in the long run that will have you fanning yourself and so much more. It is raw and intense between these two as they have an epic push and pull. Ophelia tries to get Atticus to open up while Atticus is fighting tooth and nail to accept how he feels for Ophelia. The depth of the story just gave me so much more as well. I could not get enough.

Between Ophelia and her fight or flight mentality, Atticus does everything he can to take care of her even if it bites them back. But that kind of intense love was something else. Lynn wove a brilliant story that will have you breathless by the time you are done and I honestly did not want it to end at all. Between the families on both sides, it is twisted and eye opening, but for two totally different reasons. I highly recommend this one!
