Abstract Book - “I have heard huge praises about her and this book certainly told me why! I absolutely loved it so much.”
Goodreads Review - “This author is one of those that I could talk and recommend until I am blue in the face and it still wouldn't be enough towards getting her the recognition that she deserves.”
Bex_Book_Revieux - “🖤When your favourite wordsmith crumbles your heart into a million teeny, tiny pieces with a single blurb. Y'all Anne Malcom is at it again!🖤”
PP’s Bookshelf - “I wonder if Anne Malcom can ever write a story that won't rip my heart out and make me drown in feels. I don't think so.”
Darkness asked her to dance.
It started with a cold stare.
An arrangement.
A deal with a devil in a bespoke suit.
He was wicked. Cruel. No sane person would fall in love with him.
But sanity abandoned her the second she agreed to be his.
She chose to take his hand.
It started with a white dress.
With ocean eyes.
With a woman he had to have, even though he had no business touching her porcelain skin.
She was never meant to enter his world.
He dragged her in anyway.
It was meant to be about his twisted, selfish desires.
She gave him a glimpse of the man he could’ve been had the world not turned him into a monster.
He led her into the abyss.
There, in the darkness, she learned wicked things.
He knew he’d ruin her life, loving her. So he lied. Like the sinner he was, he broke her gentle, precious heart.
Like only a devil could.
But the dance had to end.
All I can say is holy smokes! Anne Malcom delivers a raw and passionate read with epic twists and so much more. The depth of this story blew me away and the clash between Jay and Stella is off the charts! She has so much sass and wit and has zero qualms about pushing back. Especially when Jay enters the picture like he does. Jay is one of those alpha villain guys that wants what he wants and will do anything to possess the item he wants to procure. That item in question is Stella. There is so much that happens between these two that it will leave your head spinning and begging for more.
With that said, I am DYING to get my hands on book two. I need more of these two. They ultimately consumed me and left me wanting. There was just something about the dark desires to raw emotions that are woven through this story that will just really blow you away. Malcom has a real gift for writing that unique alpha and the woman who brings them to their knees!
