I have been dying to get my hands on Isabel’s story and Sorensen did not disappoint. I was blown away at the raw emotions that radiated off the pages as both Isabel and Adien were struggling to come to grips with their own losses in different ways. That sizzling slow burn just grew and I loved the intensity that these two have throughout. To me this one was so much more than a love story. It was a story of growth and healing old wounds. I could see that these two found a kindred spirit within each other and I think that's why they fought that connection tooth and nail. And sweet Anya. Oh she was a bundle of excitement, joy and wonder. In some ways, she was the catalyst that opened the door for her dad to say it is okay to move on.

Overall, out of all the Ward sisters, I think Isabel is my favorite. She is stubborn, gritty and fights everything tooth and nail because she does not want to get hurt. The push and pull with Aiden is raw and so emotional. They dance around each other but that connection is there from the moment they laid eyes on each other. Even if Isabel crushed on him when she was younger! I loved this book so much and it just flowed right off the pages!

I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob. 

If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies.
