One thing I have come to determine is that Jewel E. Ann will deliver a story that is so unique and one of a kind that it can and will take your breath away. With For Lucy, we are taken down memory lane plus the present as Emmett relives then fights to get his love back with Tatum. This book will run you a gambit of emotions that Ann is notorious for delivering. There were tears, heartache, laughter and so much more as we see things from Emmett’s side and so much more. It is one of those second chance romances that will grip you so hard in the feels that you get completely wrapped up into every single word. Honestly, it is hard to write the review because you just want to explain how this all plays out. It is very much a book that MUST be read this year. 

As a whole, this is one of the most raw and angsty books by Ann that I have read. She is also the one that cracked my black heart with previous books and For Lucy cracks it even more. There is so much emotion, pain, love and soul wrapped up into this world that Ann has created that I could not get enough. Leave it to her to utterly destroy me yet again!
