Oh my stars! Devney Perry has done it again with Fallen Jester. She ripped my heart out and pieced it back together with Leo and Cassie. With the explosive confrontation between them at the end of Noble Prince, I was not sure what we were going to get with these two. What Perry delivers is a story full of heartache, raw emotions, sizzling passion and so much more. The push and pull between Cassie and Leo is intense as Leo pushes so hard. Cassie has such a mature heart of gold. She is running a gambit of emotions while trying to focus on becoming a mom. Leo wrestles with so much inner turmoil that my heart aches for him as well. There is the perfect level of twists and turns that add to the depth of this story and will blow you away. I honestly could not get enough.
Overall, I am so in love with Leo. He is such a complex character that part wants to relive his glory days and part of him that needs to embrace his future with Cassie. She compliments his character so well as he grows through the book. And can we just talk about that ending?!?! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!! The lead up into Tin Queen is epic and trust me, you are going to want to devour Fallen Jester to know what I am talking about!
