I knew I’d never have the luxury of choosing my own wife. An arranged marriage was a sacrifice men in my position had to make for their families. It wasn’t something I looked forward to, but it had to be done.
I just never imagined my father would choose her to be my bride. Daniela Moretti, the daughter of my enemy…and I intended to treat her as such.
But since the day she set foot in my house as my wife, my loathing of her turned into something deadlier than hate. Her strength intrigued me. Her fight seduced me. And I started seeing more in her than just dirty, filthy Moretti blood.
Now…she’s gone. Kidnapped. Vanished without a trace.
But the devil always finds what’s his, and when I do, my thirst for vengeance will be sated by blood.
So let me preface this by saying if you have not touched The Devil’s Vow, stop, turn around, grab it and fall in love with Gian from the start. With that said, after the ending of the first book, I was dying to get my hands on The Devil’s Vengeance. Bella J did not disappoint. The sheer pain that both Daniella and Gian experience in this story is so raw and powerful. My heart hurt so much for these two but I adore how strong they are together.
This story is so not for the faint at heart either. It delves into a world that is not talked about a lot and Bella J did it with such poise and grace that you cannot help but want to know more. There are some insane twists and turns that will have your jaw dropping and your heart racing. But most of all, you will just swoon at the love that these two share regardless of everything that was thrown at them. That ending blew me away. This duet is very much one that will stick with you for life.
