So I will be the first to admit, I am not a huge fan of RomCom books. It takes a lot for me to really enjoy them. I have a few that I have adored. Well this one has been added to that very short list! What Cala and Riley give us with this story is something that is sweet and spicy but also a lot of laughs. Between the comedy of errors that are the excursions that Katie and Dom get themselves into, the fact that Dom stuck his foot in his mouth that caused the whole fiasco of the “fake” relationship in the first place, to how it all plays out in the last few chapters! The way these two just make sense to them discovering more about each other was so swoon worthy to how protective Dom is of Katie in regards to her ex. I laughed a lot with this one and I think I needed it. All I can say is glory, THAT ring EVERYONE was talking about, starfish and so much more. This is one of those books that needs to be read to get the laughs, the swoon and the spice!
