Hands down, one of my top reads of 2022. What Boldt gives us with Beyond My Darkness is something so mind blowing, heartbreaking and emotional read with the spice and all the twists! Georgia is one unique character that will have your heart aching for her with everything she has had to endure to get where she is now. Then she goes tumbling into Bronson’s world and it is a tricky one. Regardless of how much he fights his attraction to her, he is drawn to her like a fly to honey. There is just something deep about their connection that I could not get enough of!
There is a level of complexity with this story that blends Georgia into Bronson’s world and it is powerful, raw and intense. As all these events start happening that has both of them involved and that epic twist of who is behind it all, had my jaw on the floor. I lived for this book in so many ways. It kept me fully engaged from start to finish. The words just bled off the pages and was absolute magic together. If you read any book this year, make it this one!
