OH MY STARS! My heart! This book. Holy smokes I could not get enough. I devoured this book in a few short hours because I needed to know how things were all going to play out and due to it being a trilogy, I was left with OMG NOOOOOO right at the end of Queen of Hearts. The connection between Nick and Lyriope is intense to say the least and I could not get enough of them! I loved their banter and the way she pushes Nick to his limits. But I loved how Nick couldn’t get enough of Lyriope! There is just this powerful connection between them that is wow. I loved the intensity of this story with all the little twists that happen. I wanted to rage near the end with how things played out and I am really hoping for something in the third book, so fingers crossed!
