Oh this story! I had been intrigued with Axel from the start and pairing him with Maisy was amazing. I adored their connection and I had to giggle at how he blundered his way through stuff. I understood where Maisy came from as well as these two have such a push and pull. I loved their wit and banter. Seeing how much Axel is dedicated to being the best father ever even though his daughter is an adult was endearing. I had to laugh at Lola working to fix her dad up too! Maisy is a very relatable character as well. Those insecurities and so much more are very real and raw. There was something about the way these two melded together that was pure magic. I adored this book and devoured it!
