This is one of those second chance romances that makes your heart hurt as these two delve into their emotions of what happened in the past to how it will affect the present, especially with so much on the line. On top of being a second chance romance, it is a brother’s best friend story which has me all kinds of excited too. The raw emotions that these two bleed is just everything though. The pain from Aiden is very evident in that first meeting with Olivia after 10 years. What I love is that you can feel their connection again regardless of their past and what they are being thrown into. There is suspense, twisty moments and steam as well. It is a great blend of all the things that make you want to devour this book.
