So, I had the absolute pure pleasure of just binge reading each book back to back. While I will give a snippet for each book for a review, I have to say that this whole series was just amazing. I found myself completely immersed in the world that Dare has created and I was just in love with every moment. It is steamy, raw, twisted and so much more as you delve deeper into the series with each book. This is one series I highly recommend as well if you like MC but with a high school bully twist and also gives you that reverse harem you live for.
Savage is the first book in this series and it gives you the build as to what this series will become. Sadie is sassy and fierce right out the gate as she does not like how her life is changing because her father took in a former club brother’s kids. The instant love hate that Sadie has with Rhett is intense. Then you add Dane and Wes. There is so much to unpack in this story that I was just completely lost in the world that has been created for us.
Now with Sacrifice, after the way Savage ended on that cliffy, I was so invested to know more! I found the spice level amping up in this one which I was living for. Even though these are high school aged kids, they have grown up in a very adult environment so I found them a bit more mature for their age, but with that young kid tendency. I loved the overall connection that these four have. Who knew an MC princess, two bikers and a jock could form such a bond like they did. The twists amp up with this installment and I am living for it!
As I rolled into book three, I found myself 100% invested in these characters. Seeing their relationship build to mean something more than just the spicy times. A bond that is deep. Sadie is still by far one of my most fave sassy leading ladies. She has grit and is fierce beyond words and I honestly think she is the glue that holds these boys together. This one also adds to the level of twists that make your head spin, beg for more and want to cry at the end of it!
Can I just say, I am so freaking sad that this series is over? I have been so invested in Sadie, Rhett, Wes and Dane. The whole culmination of their story is now over and I am seriously sad! Sever brings you all the spice, twists and angst like the other books but I found it to be on a whole new level. I was just so amazed at the complexity of this series that Dare has created for us that I am now so in love with their work. This one packs a punch and delivers an epic ending to this group of four. It was everything I needed and more!
So overall as a whole, this series is just everything. I loved the complexity. I loved the angst. I loved the spice. I loved the blend of the characters and watching them grow! This is very much a series you need to get into your hot little hands because it is unique and one of a kind!
