So, let me preface this if you have NOT read House of Dragons, stop, turn around and go back to read it because it is an absolute must! Now that is out of the way, OMG! This book! The level of depth that Linde gives us with her fantasy books is 100% chef’s kiss! I could NOT stop reading this one once I started. I was wrapped up in Kerrigan and how things were all going to play out for her. We delved into the House of Shadows this time and I was just absolutely spellbound by everything. It is raw, intense and so many levels of twists that I bow to Linde and her writing. The whole connection between Kerrigan and Ford is just WOW! I am dying to get my hands on more from this series!
