I was nervous to see who Cassius was paired up with but I was not disappointed in any way. It was one of the most raw and emotional books I have read so far in this series and it is such a story of redemption and growth. I didn’t think it was possible to see Jessa in a new light but what we get is something for the ages. After everything Jessa had been through prior to this story and seeing her growth within the pages of this one was so emotional. Seeing her side of the story was absolutely everything and the way her and Cas just work was awe inspiring. 

There is an intense level of twists and turns once again involved with the Four and I could not get enough. I was completely engrossed in the depth of this installment and how things have all played out thus far. If you have been a fan of this series, you will love this. I know some are iffy on it because of things but to be honest, seeing a villain from prior books get her redemption story was so freaking brilliant and I applaud Steele for what she gave us. It was sizzling, twisted and honestly a breath of fresh air! Now I am dying to get my hands on Zayde story and I am seriously hoping we get Creed down the road too!
