This is one of those really slow burn but in a few weeks time type stories from these authors and it will hit you hard with the feels. There is some drama, lots of emotions and so much more wrapped within these pages. I adored Ford and how he worked to get Shayne to see herself in the same light that he does. The heartache that Shayne had been holding in was so emotional. That girl is a fighter though as she holds her head up and keeps on going. The connection that these have is fire and I loved how Ford slowly worked on Shayne to get her to agree to let him in. There are a few tragic moments within this story that will hit you hard but overall, a stunning emotional story of finding love when you least expect it.
