Oh my stars. This book. It was utterly everything and honestly my favorite of The Syndicates so far. Kai is just wow! His passion, determination and so much more will just make you completely weak in the knees and swoon! Pairing him with Cleo, an Irish spitfire, all bets are off. What started out as a game for Kai as he is positioning himself for power within his own organization, he finds himself falling down this rabbit hole with Cleo and their connection was utterly everything. How she gives as good as she gets, she keeps him on his toes and so much more.
The concept as a whole and how things are all interconnected within this series is amazing and Cala Riley has done a brilliant job bringing grit and passion to the table in this book especially. I loved the flow, the twists and turns and the build of the relationship between Cleo and Kai. It was pure magic and I am living for it! Bring on Nikolai because I am dying to know how the Russians will play out!
