OH my stars! I have been dying to know more about Kerrigan since the very first book and let me tell you, her story is utterly stunning! Nash wove such a stunning story for her that is raw and emotional. Heartbreaking and uplifting. Passionate and intense. Dealing with the death of her mentor took so much out of her but dealing with his grandson, well that was icing on the cake. Pierce is hard yet passionate with his views made up about Kerrigan before he even met her. Well the rules have changed and she knocks him on his butt! These two really know how to push each other’s buttons but how tenacious Kerrigan was to make Pierce see how determined she was, oh that was utterly everything.
These two seriously have some hate to love, love to hate emotions but when things get exposed, thanks snowstorm, seeing these two open up to each other was amazing. With their chemistry sizzling and all the intensity from that, I was just blown away. When things get twisted and all the unexpected stuff comes into play, my mind was like omg did that just happen? I loved the depth that Nash has created within these pages and it leaves you wanting more. I love how it played out for them. Now I am dying to know what is coming next!
