After the first three books of this series, I was not sure how things were going to play out for Luca. What we get is twisted, heart breaking and raw emotions through this book. While Luca and Peyton’s story is going to be a duet, I highly recommend reading the first three books that delve into Kane and Letty’s story as that history bleeds into this duet set of the MKU world that Lorraine has created. My heart ached for Luca with everything that has happened and is going on in his head with football, his dad and so much more. Enter Peyton, whom he has a history with and things going crazy. I found that now that I have learnt more about Luca, I have a soft spot for him because the way he acted with Letty and everyone else in the first three books, I wanted to smack him. I loved the connection and how he and Peyton are tied together. My heart hurts for Peyton as well. I am looking forward to seeing how this will all play out!
