I had been curious about this one since the first and Lucian and Elena did not disappoint. While there are moments that were rough in this story and I am by no means glorifying it, it added to the depth of the story and how much pain Elena had gone through. Their connection is magnetic and there was the right amount of push and pull with them that kept me fully engrossed. There is an intense combination of grit, passion and rawness with this story that will keep you on your toes. It has insanely twisted moments but such beautiful ones too at times. Great addition to the series!
