Oh my heart! I was excited to read this one as I adore a single parent story and this one did not disappoint. The raw emotions that bleed on the pages from not just Memphis but from Knox is intense. Regardless of how much these two fight their emotions, it was pure magic as they connected on so many levels. The twists that are involved too! My mind was spinning! But there is so much depth to this story as Knox and Memphis connect. How much he wants to help her even though he did not want to get involved because he was burned so hard prior. Memphis has grit though. She refuses to bend to others' will, especially her parents.
Perry has a stunning way of making her stories just flow to the point that you are so lost in the words and shocked when you get to the end. I love how the build up has been for this family and I am so excited to see what is to come with them.
