GAH this book will rock you to your core. It felt so raw and real with the emotions bleeding off the pages for Taeli as she tries to get her life back on track. And while she makes some mistakes along the way, especially with her 12 year old son explaining how things all went down with his dad, she found solace in Graham. What started out as something so casual blossomed into something more and their connection really ran deep through this story. It was like a moth to a flame with how they were attracted to each other. You couldn’t help but swoon for Graham as he took Caleb under his wing. Graham showed both of them what a life with love and trust could be. I really adored this story and the fluidity of it and I am so looking forward to what will be coming with Balsam Ridge and these Tuttle boys!

When Karina Halle announces she is writing something in the fantasy or paranormal world, this girl here is there with bells on to devour it. With River of Shadows, my mind is blown and oh my stars, I could not get enough. The concept, the imagery and so much more had me wrapped up in this story to the point that I was so lost when I finished it. What starts out as Hanna supposedly taking care of something after a tragedy, turns into something so intense and twisty that it was honestly, one of the most amazing things I have read in a long time. Halle brings in a unique spin on Finnish mythology and I can honestly say, I am speechless. I am dying to get my hands on the next book. Yes I know this review is vague but this is one of those books that you NEED to go into blind. PICK THIS UP!

OH MY STARS! The intense sizzle between Jules and Josh just blew my mind. I could not get enough of their banter but that tension between these two was just mind blowing. I found their banter to be their foreplay as they love to hate and hate to love on each other. But when things start to get really messed up for Jules, it gets really messed up. There were moments I wanted to yell at my ereader but at the same time swoon with how these two were with each other. I loved every little twist and turn that gave this book more depth and finding out more about Jules and the mind set of Josh was pure perfection. Now the countdown is on for Stella! I am DYING to get my hands on Twisted Lies!

Oh what a wild ride this story was. I ADORE Dani and the fact that she was fated to Torius made it that much more epic! I loved the banter and wit between these two but their connection was intense to say the least. Some of it plays off of Dani’s powers which makes things that much more intense but seeing Torius in all his glory was absolutely everything. The common thread about the witches and the curses play through this book too and how they need to save the kingdoms again. But there was something so much more with this installment of the series that had me so glued to my ereader.

There are some interesting twists and turns that will have your jaw drop, insanely sizzling moments to did that just happen moments. Schlosser delivers on every level that keeps you fully engaged. You go on this wild ride that have you so lost in this world that has been created. I honestly am living for this series more and more each book. I am really hoping we see more soon!
