I came back to Mason Creek when my life was turned upside down, both literally and figuratively. Holy emotional rollercoaster Batman! My heartstrings were definitely tugged with this book. It is raw, passionate and so much more. After a traumatic event, Justine comes home to recover from it all. I felt her emotions just radiate off the pages. Enter Tucker who totally came out of left field and blind sided her. The depth of their connection was absolutely beautiful as they navigate being the talk of the town, especially with Tucker’s past. When things get twisted and all Justine wants to do is help, it gets raw between them. My heart hurts so much for both of them as they try to navigate this new reality. But love conquers all and it was stunning as it all played out. I highly recommend this one! I am so looking forward to the rest of this small town series!
