This is the first book I have read by Harris and knowing it is a spin off of another series, I do know I will be going back to read those. With that said, I felt like you did not need that series to enjoy this story. I loved the single dad, enemies to lovers aspect of this story as it kept you on your toes. Especially with how Elise came to be within the family and how the relationship with Michael worked. There is epic banter between these two as well as the spicy moments, all wrapped up neatly with some twists that will have you begging for more! Great read and looking forward to the next. Now excuse me while I read Harris’ backlist!

For Lilian, a love of writing began with a love of books. From Goosebumps to romance novels with sexy men on the cover, she loved them all. It's no surprise that at the age of eight she started writing poetry and lyrics, and hasn't stopped writing since.

She was born in Azerbaijan, and currently resides on Long Island, N.Y. with her husband, three kids, and a dog named Gatorade. Even though she has a law degree, she isn't practicing. When she isn't writing or reading, Lilian is baking or cooking up a storm. And once the kids are in bed, there's usually a glass of red in her hand. Can't just survive on coffee alone!
