So with this book being the second in the series, I scrambled to read the first to get a feel for the world and then dove right into Fractured Secrets. I am so glad I did because I had a little more context to some stuff but overall, I felt you could read this book as a standalone. Coming from a shattered situation, Gabriella does the only thing she could think of and that was right into Lorenzo’s arms essentially. These two are pure fire together and she keeps him on his toes from start to finish. There is angst and passion threaded through these pages that will have your heart captured from the start. Great story and I am looking forward to more within this series!
