Words cannot express how much I adore this story. I have been hoping that Tessa would be paired up with Milo solely based on their connection in the previous stories. She always seemed like this happy go lucky girl who always had a smile on her face and when we read her story, it was heartbreaking. Then you add the torture that Milo is enduring and my whole heart shattered. But the connection that these two have regardless of them fighting that attraction was amazing. How much they just wanted to be there for each other. Hold each other up. There is a lot that happens within these pages that will shatter you to make your heart sing. 

One thing I adore is Jackson’s way of writing is stunning and oh so beautiful. It is raw and passionate. Heartfelt yet a bit twisty. The Redemption Hills series is a lot more twisty than past books by Jackson but still packs a massive punch in the feels. Hands down, binge this series but I think Milo has beat out Trent for me!

This is the first book I have read by Harris and knowing it is a spin off of another series, I do know I will be going back to read those. With that said, I felt like you did not need that series to enjoy this story. I loved the single dad, enemies to lovers aspect of this story as it kept you on your toes. Especially with how Elise came to be within the family and how the relationship with Michael worked. There is epic banter between these two as well as the spicy moments, all wrapped up neatly with some twists that will have you begging for more! Great read and looking forward to the next. Now excuse me while I read Harris’ backlist!

I have been DYING to get my hands on Kirill’s story and I was NOT disappointed. Kent knows how to draw you in and grip your soul while reading her books and Blood of My Monster is no different. The connection that Sasha and Kirill have is something so intense that my mind was spinning as this story progresses. Sasha is soft to Kirill’s hard. But don’t discount how strong Sasha really is. She is a spitfire and will keep Kirill on his toes!

This is a story that is high intensity, fast paced and mind blowing. Be aware that this is the first book of the trilogy so you know how we are left begging for more at the end. I am so looking forward to how this trilogy is going to play out because in true Kent fashion, she drops the bombs and twists! Bring on book two!

I have been looking forward to Kenji’s story since I knew we were going to get it. I lived for the connection that he and Miya have. It is intense and oh so spicy. Miya keeps Kenji guessing what is going to happen next with her, bringing out his fun side and so much more. She pushed limits with him and that just added more to their relationship.

 Once I started this book, I struggled to do real life things because I was drawn back into the story. Add how Kenji is involved with the Syndicate series and the twisty moments that are involved with this story, you get an action packed, sizzling story that will keep you on your toes, begging for more.

There is a lot of this story that I really loved but there were things that bothered me about it as well. I adore the premise and the concept behind this one. Plus how it all played in and tied together with the other books of this series which ended in the culmination of the backstory being completed. I think what bothered me about this one is the repetitive nature that Sophie was given. Her thoughts were constantly repetitive and drove me bonkers. I felt just off with her. I felt she lacked the spark of the past ladies that we have been given from Michaels stories. I adored Holden and how he took control of a situation that was completely out of his control though. How he cared for Sophie and Eden right out the gate even though it has been years. They do have a great connection. As always, the side characters add to the depth of the story as well. While not my favorite of the series, it is a good story that will have your heart happy by the end.

So with this book being the second in the series, I scrambled to read the first to get a feel for the world and then dove right into Fractured Secrets. I am so glad I did because I had a little more context to some stuff but overall, I felt you could read this book as a standalone. Coming from a shattered situation, Gabriella does the only thing she could think of and that was right into Lorenzo’s arms essentially. These two are pure fire together and she keeps him on his toes from start to finish. There is angst and passion threaded through these pages that will have your heart captured from the start. Great story and I am looking forward to more within this series!

After devouring Slashers & Secrets which must be read prior to Madness & Mayhem, I was DYING to know what was going to happen especially after that cliffy. There are so many twisty moments from finding out who the Masked Man is to a manhunt. The complexity surrounding Lakyn is intense to say the least but I love her character and how fierce she is. She is a fighter and protects her own. Hands down a great book and an amazing duet as a whole. Now is the time to binge but 100% check your triggers before diving into Hellcrest Heights!

Hands down, now is the time to binge The Obsidian Brotherhood. I sat and read all four books back to back and I am so happy I did. But by far, Judgement Day is my favorite. I have been intrigued with Grey since we first met him and oh my stars does he deliver! The complexity of twists that Foster has embedded within this whole series with the final culmination of this book had my head spinning and begging for more. I loved the way things unfold between Grey and Sadie too. OHHH swoon and fan yourself moments! While the spice was completely epic, the whole storyline and how it all played out was something of perfection. I devoured these books in a day! Hands down some of my best reads for this year already but Grey.. oh Grey.. that man is MINE!
