I love that we are getting more into this world of hockey from Madison. The interconnected characters can be a bit much but it never takes away from the story ever. I adored that this one was about Chase and Julia. Their push and pull is so magnetic and they just have this deeper level of connection between them. With things starting to implode for Julia, Chase is there, fighting for her every step of the way before he even realizes what his full feelings are for her. The fluidity of the build of their story was absolutely amazing with every little twist and turn. My heart ached when Julia was blindsided to my heart singing when these two finally admit there is something more. Great start to this series!
