With how the first book ended, I was not sure how things were going to play out with Harlow and the guys. Lady of Darkness picks up right where Lords ended and WOW. Things I never expected to have that intense sizzling chemistry. Each moment in this book is twisty and intense or absolutely combustible and spicy. Seeing Harlow grow as she is with the Lords longer is amazing to see too. She always had that sassy backbone but try as the Lords may, they never break her. The way she fights back builds a fire under them and it makes for this hate to love love to hate relationship. And let me tell you, each Lord brings their own version of intensity. I have to say I am pretty partial to Theo because he has this mischievous nature. But Alaric, Sterling and Gideon will bring the fire as well. Seeing how they meld together as one was sizzling. The group moments….. HOLY CHEFS KISS! Richardson delivered hands down with this one!
