I love that we are getting more into this world of hockey from Madison. The interconnected characters can be a bit much but it never takes away from the story ever. I adored that this one was about Chase and Julia. Their push and pull is so magnetic and they just have this deeper level of connection between them. With things starting to implode for Julia, Chase is there, fighting for her every step of the way before he even realizes what his full feelings are for her. The fluidity of the build of their story was absolutely amazing with every little twist and turn. My heart ached when Julia was blindsided to my heart singing when these two finally admit there is something more. Great start to this series!

With how the first book ended, I was not sure how things were going to play out with Harlow and the guys. Lady of Darkness picks up right where Lords ended and WOW. Things I never expected to have that intense sizzling chemistry. Each moment in this book is twisty and intense or absolutely combustible and spicy. Seeing Harlow grow as she is with the Lords longer is amazing to see too. She always had that sassy backbone but try as the Lords may, they never break her. The way she fights back builds a fire under them and it makes for this hate to love love to hate relationship. And let me tell you, each Lord brings their own version of intensity. I have to say I am pretty partial to Theo because he has this mischievous nature. But Alaric, Sterling and Gideon will bring the fire as well. Seeing how they meld together as one was sizzling. The group moments….. HOLY CHEFS KISS! Richardson delivered hands down with this one!

I have been dying to get my hands on this book since I finished the second one and my heart is so happy. I ADORE this trilogy and every moment within it. Between the concept that Hale has given us with Aura and her men, I am blown away at this stunning conclusion to the trilogy. It has passion, intensity and so much more as every twist and turn is thrown at them. Hands down this trilogy is one of my top reads of 2022. It was an epic why choose story with so much that happens within the pages to keep you guessing. That ending was perfection!
