The premise of this book really intrigued me and what a wild ride it was! I am still relatively new to the monster romance genre but there was something so endearing about this relationship! I loved the sass and grit of Aria to the uniqueness of Akuji who Aria likes to call red. Gave me some sexy Hellboy vibes and I was 100% living for it! This story is action packed, spice as all get out and so much more. The concept has me questioning so much more and looking forward to what is to come with the series!

*Monstrous Lies is the first book in the Forgotten City Series, all the books feature different characters but to fully enjoy the series I suggest reading the series in order.*
