Ahhh Weston! We finally get his story and it was pure magic! The connection that him and Lena have is so intense and deep that I couldn’t help but fall in love with these two. When things implode for Weston and secrets are exposed, my heart so aches for him. Even though Lena played a minor role in what happened, she is there to hold him up. While things are still coming out from the previous books and they are working to get things shut down, that raw sizzle builds between these two. With every little twist and turn, you are kept on your toes throughout this book as the whole group of The Four, work together to bring justice to the voiceless.

Overall, I completely devoured this book from start to finish. Only stopped to sleep! And even then, that was a task because I wanted to know how things would play out. Steele has created something so unique with this crew that I cannot get enough and I seriously need more. I mean, is it too early to ask for Z and Cass’ stories? Pretty please?

What an unexpected and epic start to K.L. Savage’s addition to the Royal Bastards series. How it is all tied in with the author’s Ruthless Kings series was sheer perfection and once I started I could not put it down. It was raw, it was emotional, it was all kinds of things that I honestly cannot describe. Thrasher has a very tragic past that still haunts him to this day. PTSD is a rough topic to cover and Savage to me, did it justice. Those intense emotions that played out for not just him but also for Delilah. Their connection though. OH MY STARS! SO passionate and on another level but the way that they just clicked was just wow. I adored seeing more about Delilah and how she came to be. Especially seeing her side of how things happened to her.

Overall, this is an amazing story. One I could not put down once I started and I totally devoured it. It has amazing fluidity, great character build and so much more. The way that Savage has tied it into the Ruthless series was an amazing one. I do recommend reading the Ruthless Kings series though, especially the Ruthless Christmas as that is our introduction to Delilah. Just to grasp a better understanding of her and how she came into this world, though Thrasher can be read as a standalone.

Gah, I cannot get enough of this series by Hayley Faiman. The concept, the passion, the storyline, the full arc that bleeds through this series? Absolutely perfect. I am so lost into the world that has been created that I cannot get enough of it. It is twisty, sizzling and so much more as we delve deeper into the prophecy. This time we get Birdie’s story as she ends up in the wild west of this world. The push and pull with Colt is so raw and intense that it is pure foreplay for these two. She gives as good as she gets and does not back down to him. Even when he pushes, she pulls him right back in and gives him what for!

I think what I am really in love with for this series is the fact that they are all interconnected but also able to stand on their own. How things are woven and intertwined. I adored the wit and sass of Birdie and I think she may be my favorite sister yet. I am so looking forward to the next book to see how it all plays out!

 

As an only child, Hayley Faiman had to entertain herself somehow. She started writing stories at the age of six and never really stopped.

Born in California, she met her now husband at the age of sixteen and married him at the age of twenty in 2004. After all of these years together, he’s still the love of her life.

Hayley’s husband joined the military and they lived in  Oregon,where he was stationed with the US Coast Guard. They moved back to California in 2006, where they had two little boys. Recently, the four of them moved out to the Hill Country of Texas, where they adopted a new family member, a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
