It has been a while since I have been emotionally gutted by Ann and oh does she hit the feels with Before Us. The concept alone will have you scratching your head as to why this happens how it does but there is something that Ann does with her storytelling that can make this work. Man loses his wife, man helps the housekeeper in the shape of a marriage of convenience. The ties between Emersyn, Zach and Susie are deep and very raw emotionally. It is hard to write a review for this one so as to not give spoilers because Before Us hands down needs to be an experience on its own. The complexity, rawness and harsh realities within these pages will have you speechless!
