I was not totally sure what I was going into with this book from Vincent. What I got was intense twisty goodness that I didn’t think I would enjoy. Vincent’s name alone should be a trigger warning now because her words take you on this insane rabbit hole that you don’t want to leave. So 100% please check your triggers before delving into this book. This story is intense right out of the gate and I was hooked. There are a whole lot of complications between Mia and Laz, especially since Laz is married to Mia’s mom. There is a lot that unfolds within these pages and I fully believe it needs to be read to understand the dynamics of these two.
