This story plays out exactly like the title. There are a lot of misconceptions that happen between Riley and Hudson but it made for a sweet and beautiful story. Plus I am a sucker for friends to lovers with some surprise baby sprinkled in! The raw emotions that bleed through these pages give you a sense of realness between these two. Everything that happens between these two felt like it was happening to a group of friends that you personally have. I loved that realness. Between the push and pull between these two at the start to how things play out after Hudson returns back to town, I devoured this book in one sitting. I am really hoping for more with this group of friends!
