What starts out as a bit of deception, Elle lays into Landon right from the start when that was exposed. But then what we get is something more deep. Elle and Landon have that connection right from the start, even with that little lie that had these two colliding. To me this story was more than just about the romance between a couple. It was about the connection that Elle develops with Stella. How much Landon had to come to terms with his haunting past that he just cannot let go until Elle enters his life. There is a lot of push and pull between these two. Even when things get more twisted thanks to Elle’s family which includes the recent ex husband, Landon stands beside her, being strong for her.

Overall, this was a great story that has raw emotions bleeding through the pages, a romance that is whirlwind, the chemistry was sizzling and the banter had me giggling all the time. I really enjoyed this one and how much we see Landon as a human and not some grump tough as nails kinda a guy that is solely focused on his daughter. I am really looking forward to what is to come with this family!
