With what Francisco gives us, is a story full of wit and banter that will have you swooning and giggling but also all with the feels because of everything that Camille and Oliver had gone through to get to Mason Creek. Add a smooth talking cowboy that has to work at sweeping her off her feet and you have a stunning story that will just have you wrapped up in the world that these authors have created. Oh where to begin with this beauty of a story. First off, I am living for Jenshak and her Valley U world. There is so much depth and the connection to all the prior stories and so much more will give you epic world building. With that said, Daisy is 100% someone you can relate to and connect with. The angst that we get with this one has you swooning with Jordan as he tries to win the girl he never expected to come barreling into his life. While Jordan wasn’t in Daisy’s sights originally, I really adored her growth and seeing her development when it came to these emotions that were screaming at her. 

Her group of friends are huge supporters but there were times I just wanted to yell at Violet so much because of how she was reacting. But then I remember, I was there once, and those young emotions will take you all over the place. Then you have Jordan and his growth to how he went from being the ladies man to only wanting Daisy. There is some twisty drama that happens because you know, gotta love that college age, but I found it fit perfectly within this story. I am really looking forward to what is to come with these wallflowers!

I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into with this one from Katee Robert but what I got was something I needed. It was quirky and intense at the same time. Twisty and sizzling. There is just something about the connection that Briar and Sol have that you cannot help enjoy, regardless of the situation that has them together. One thing I will say is do check the authors website for your triggers etc. I loved the concept of this one so I had zero issues but I know some may. With that being said, this story is 100% worth the read! Get your smut on with the dragon and his lady!

Being on a huge paranormal kick, I adored A Vow of Ruin. While this book can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the first book in the series as it will give you a feel of the world that Gray has created. With this one, we get just a deep twisty tale with Iris and Draven that will take you on a wild ride! I adored the wit and banter that these two shared aside from their sizzling connection that they want to deny. There are enough twists and turns in this story that will give you that want to devour this story. It kept me on my toes and I really enjoyed it from start to finish!

What we get with this twisty and intriguing story by TL Smith is something that blows my mind.The way the concept is woven between the witches, wolves, vampires and more is something that I could not get enough of. Talia is tangled up with the prophecy which tangles her up with the queen to the angels to the angel of Death himself. It gives way to a story that has so much depth and gives you a vivid view of the paranormal world that  Smith has created with this one! There is an interesting level of twists that not just involve Talia but her sisters as well. I found it gave this story so much more oomph and I could not put it down once I started. I am really looking forward to more in this world because of the uniqueness of it all!

I had been itching to get my hands on Jud’s story and oh my stars! Let me tell you, Jackson did not disappoint with his story with Salem. It is raw, emotional, intense and so much depth! We know from Trent’s story the reason why Jud and his brothers are now in Redemption Hills. But there is something underlying with Jud and when Salem enters the picture, life is shifted. Their connection is absolutely sizzling right out the gate and with every little thing exposed, my heart raced and hurt at the same time. Ugo gripped the top of my arm as I swayed in fear in front of a sign that read Dager’s Den.

“Why here?” I couldn’t look at him.

“Because,” I heard him rub his face, annoyed with my questions, “she’s like clockwork. She’d never miss a day to flaunt her power to the other men.”

Sweet Lord.

“I think I might faint.”

He cut me a quick glance then shook his head and cursed.

My entire body froze with fear, and my eyes went wide at the sound of the handle being pulled. The door opened to reveal a woman with eyes as black as coal in a face with skin so white it almost glowed. Her dark hair was pulled tightly back into a bun, and a pair of glasses hung from the collar of her blue blouse. Her perfectly ironed gray slacks stopped at her ankles just above her small-heeled boots. Both hands rested on a glass ball that sat on the top of her black cane. I felt like I had been transported directly into a nasty scene from a Disney movie.

“Ugo.” She only spoke his name then closed her eyes slowly, and when they opened again, they were on me. I stepped back, but Ugo pressed me forward, rooting me back in place. She was like a cobra only inches from my face. It made me want to run and scream at the same time, but my brain seemed to have shorted out at the simultaneous commands.

So, I just stared.

“Nonna Rosa,” Ugo addressed her, and I felt him look down at me, “I want you to meet someone.”

A cold chill passed through my body, and I became lightheaded as my heartbeat pulsed in my ears. “This is Theo’s Alessia, your granddaughter.”

She lifted her eyes to stare at him for a brief moment then turned those black pools back to me. Her colorless lips pressed into a hard line as she tried to see inside my soul.

“Prove it.”

I stood frozen, completely unable to respond. She had awakened such a deep fear inside of me I was completely at her mercy.

Ugo reached for my hand and held it up to show her the ring.

She grabbed my hand between her icy fingers and held it close to her face. She closed one eye and twisted the band around and gave a low gasp.

“Impossible.”
