Oh my heart. This one hits you right in the feels. I had a feeling Brayson was misunderstood but my heart hurt so much for him! Akridge hit it out of the park with this story. Chrissy has some baggage from past relationships and she always self sabotaged her self when it came to being with someone. But regardless of the history that had been perceived with Brayson, she felt this connection. Sometimes you have to follow your heart. She did and it was so beautiful to read. How protective Brayson is, how much Chrissy stood up for him. These two just made sense even if the others couldn’t see it at first. I do hope sometime down the road we will get a holiday story with them but overall, this series is magical and I loved every moment of it. Now is the time to binge!

This is one of those polarizing books that you will either devour or not feel it. I enjoyed it for what it is. It is spicy, naughty and forbidden. I was not a fan of Raven’s mom and I liked that this story pushed boundaries that a lot of people are not a fan of. I love it when an author takes risks and hands down, Robbins did with this one.
