I have been so excited to delve back into the Wallflower world and I am here for it! I adored this story from start to finish. I adore the Valley U world that Jenshak has given us in so many different variations, which give these books more depth as you get random past characters showing up. With this one, I was dying to know more about Violet and Gavin and how they came to be such enemies. It is raw and angsty with all the swoon in this second chance redemption storyline. I lived for the banter and wit. These two verbally sparring was just as sizzling as the spicy moments! Hands down a perfect addition to the series and I cannot wait to see more!

The one thing I have loved about this series as a whole so far is the ongoing backstory and seeing more about it within Hunted in Darkness was amazing. While that is playing out, we get to see Chase and Skye’s wild ride. While Chase may be the alpha of the Aspen pack, there is a lot of history behind it. It is intense and emotional. Then you have Skye who comes from the Redwood pack and she brings things to a different level with Chase. The angst and raw emotions are everything! I love the story, the twists and honestly everything about it. Great addition to the series and I am looking forward to more!
