Words cannot express how stoked I was when I found out that we were going to get Cole’s story. I loved him so much in Hart’s previous installment of the Mason Creek series but what we get with his story is something so much more. The sizzle slow burn of both Cole and Joey denying their feelings for each other was a whole bunch of hilarity but you get to see those emotions that they both hide come to the surface. More Cole than Joey and oh does it hit you hard in the feels. But they play so well off of each other that you cannot help but root for them. I laughed, swooned and felt every emotion bleed off these pages. Hart did a fabulous job with these two and I cannot wait to see what is to come next!

 This is one of those books that is an ultimate slow burn but will hold your attention the whole time. The underlying current that sizzles between Lia and Nik is intense and combustible! How these two get intertwined with each other thanks to Nik’s sister to all the twists and turns that are involved with this book will have you devouring it. I loved the sass and grit that Lia has as she is thrown into a world that she never expected. She gives as good as she gets no matter what happens and Nik seems to be the one to catch her. He is alpha and fierce but fights his feelings so hard to the point you want to just yell at him to let Lia in! 

I can honestly say I am living for these books in the Syndicates. They keep 100% engrossed in every page and Nikolai does that just like the past books. While there are times it felt slow, it all played a pivotal role within the book! This is a great book and I highly recommend it plus the ones that came before it!

Oh my heart. I think this is the most raw and powerful story that Elliott has ever given us and my heart hurt so much for both Bella and Hunter. While we get epic wit and banter that Elliott always gives us but it takes a deeper, more raw level with everything that comes to light within these pages. Please, heed the warning that Elliott has given this book. While this story is so intense and emotional, it is also so full of love. How much these two are meant for each other. How much their love, regardless of how many years have passed, never faded. As these two navigate their new beginning, how patient Hunter is with Bella, how much Bella wants to be more than the shell that she has been for so many years. Seeing the growth and how much Bella grows in this book is utterly beautiful. How much Hunter just wants to protect her and how things take an interesting twist at the end when he wants to right the wrongs done.

As a whole, I think this is my favorite story from Elliott. I have been a long time reader of this author and hello, Layton. But there was just something about how this second chance romance hits you hard with the feels and the emotions. They are real, intense, twisted and so much more. I cannot say enough about how this book was handled with grace, and gave Bella a voice that so many women don’t get. This series is amazing and this one is absolutely everything.

OH did Evans save the best for last!!! I have been so looking forward to who would bring Roscoe to his knees and oh does he ever with a blast from his past. Sienna is Roscoe’s sister’s best friend. So these two have a history. And OHHH is it an emotional one! There are some epic little twists and turns that will have you going what just happened to the big bomb drop that has me questioning Roscoe as a whole. My heart ached for Sienna! You could feel the hurt radiate off the pages as she is trying to navigate the future with Roscoe even though he is being a bit of a jerk! The band is so involved too and I adored every single moment of it as well. There are a lot of ups and downs within this book and will have you rooting for that happily ever after!
With Roscoe being the last book of this series, I am sad to see this series come to an end but I love how Evans has woven the next series into this book as well as the previous in the series. 100% leaves me wanting and dying to get my hands on what is to come! Now is the time to binge this series as a whole and fall in love with these characters!

I have to say, this is a unique and stunning read that I could not put down. Leigh delivers such a brilliant story concept with From Salt to Skye that you get swept away in the magical world that has been created. This one will keep you on your toes, guessing what will happen next, questioning what you just read and so much more. Fable and Adler are just wow! The way these two just meld together was bewitching and so much more. This is honestly one of those books you just have to read and experience it blind!
