With happily ever after being something that happens to other people, April Mayson has decided to put all her energy into her career and living her best life, and things are better than ever.
Little does she know that her world is about to be turned upside down when she’s asked to help out a family friend, Maxim Kauwe.
Now, she’s dealing with a man unlike any she’s ever met before, her ex—a famous musician who’s decided he wants her back—and a possible serial killer.
With all the drama suddenly swirling around her, she will have to figure out if she is brave enough to trust Maxim with her heart and maybe even her life.
Oh what a stunning story for April. Maxim is the perfect match for her and takes her on a ride of her life. With her ex throwing her under the bus essentially to being caught up in something so twisted that you will ask yourself what just happened, Until April gives you all the feels, the swoon and so much more. The connection was intense for these two right out the gate and it just grew from there. I adore the when you know, you know aspect of Reynolds story because I feel like it is so much my life as well. Screw what society says, when you love, you know. And these two love each other deeply. This is a great addition to the Until books and left me wanting more.

Johnny Maverick is a lot of things. Great hockey player Loyal friend Always up for a good time
And now, he's my new roommate.
It's only for a few weeks while I intern for the Wildcats - his new NHL team. And there are some pros to living with my hot and ridiculous friend (or is that ridiculously hot?). He's fun and unexpectedly sweet, and he reminds me not to take myself too seriously.
I had no intention of breaking the one rule given to me on my first day on the job: no sleeping with the players. And if I had, I never dreamed that player would be Johnny Maverick.

Oh my stars! I have been DYING to get my hands on Mav’s book and I was not disappointed. I am only sad that it ended. Jenshak has such an amazing way of writing these stories that fully engulfs you and makes it so you never want to leave. I always felt Mav was multifaceted and this story takes you on a ride with him and Dakota. I loved their connection, their wit and banter. It was raw and emotional when it needed to be. Intense is putting it mildly. I adored the whole mismash of tropes that are within these pages and I could not get enough. Amazing addition to the Wildcats and I SO need more!
Meet Rebecca
Rebecca is a new adult romance author, caffeine-addict, and lover of all sports. She's a Midwest girl at heart, but currently resides in Arizona.
When my young son inherited half of his great grandfather’s historic inn, I decided to move us both to the place where I grew up.
Notice I said half of the Inn. The other half now belonged to Levi Miller, the famous quarterback who had other ideas about what we should do with the property.
We won’t mention that I accidentally injured him during our first meeting, causing him to get eight stitches.
You could say we got off on the wrong foot.
We bickered a lot as we both moved into the property while we figured things out.
He wanted to unload the rundown place which, admittedly, needed a lot of work.
I wanted to restore The Palm Inn to its original beauty and re-open it as a bed and breakfast.
We couldn’t agree on anything. So Levi made me a proposal. One he thought I would surely lose. If I could sell out the place by the time he had to leave for training at the end of summer, he would back off and let me run it.
But in the weeks that followed, we got more than we bargained for while we were living under the same roof.
Levi and I got closer, and before I knew it, my nightly fantasies about the brawny Adonis became a reality. Not to mention, he was so great with my son.
We were in over our heads in more ways than one.
Because not only was he the last man on Earth I should be falling for because of our deal, but Levi was also my ex’s older brother.

Elio
Love and family are all that matter, so I keep a careful eye on our new visitors who have awoken the hornets’ nest and revealed the snakes that have lain dormant for years.
As I try to protect Sienna from her own past, betrayals are surfacing, and my paranoia is intensifying.
One secret is discovered that will undoubtably change everything.
**May contain triggers, intended for a mature audience 18+. Does end on a cliffhanger-ish. Sneak peek of book 3, Quiet Power, at the end. I promise all will be okay.**
Oh I have been dying to get my hands on the next installment of this series and I was not disappointed. The title is aptly named because there are so many secrets that are swirling within these pages that you are left asking yourself did that really happen. Drake has a masterful way of weaving a tale that will keep you on your toes, constantly guessing what will happen and give us a stunning and unique storyline like I have never read. There is a lot that happens within Quiet Secrets as Sienna’s mother reappears in her life, lots of unanswered questions and Elio is not sure what to make of anything. But one thing is for certain, his feelings for Sienna. Regardless of how it is tested, these two have such a stunning connection.
There is a lot to unpack in this one and because it is book two of the trilogy, you know there will be a cliffy ending. It will leave you wanting more. It will leave you breathless and completely lost as to what to do next because you have been so wrapped up in this story. One thing that is brilliant is how Drake interconnects her prior series into this one. Let's just say, I was a very happy girl! Bring on book three!
EXCERPT
I felt rage burn through my veins at that. It was the first I’d heard of it.
“It was all supposed to happen, and then you came along. Little orphan girl, with the big blue eyes, and the big fake boobs.”
I licked the inside of my mouth, leaned over the island, grabbed her hand, and yanked her straight down onto the marble countertop. I moved my face inches from hers and smiled like the crazy person I was becoming.
“Elio wants a real woman, not some skinny drunk who can’t keep the bottle from her jacked-up lip job. Nor would he even want to entertain visiting your eight-men-a-day, stretched out, trailer trash vag.” She blinked at my crass words. “Come at me again, and I promise I will show you what I learned on the streets.”
I let go and leaned back, snatching the bottle from Mariano, who stared at me with a gaping mouth. “Oh, Anna, these are far from fake.” I took another shot, high-fived Donte behind the counter, and left.

Oh this was something I didn’t know I needed but lived for it all the same. What Sophie Lark created with There Are No Saints, I was utterly just mind blown! Is this story about the villain? YES! Should I not be simping for the villain? NO! But honestly, you cannot help it! There is so much that goes on within these pages that you are just left with your jaw dropped and your heart racing. You are constantly asking yourself did I just read that to dying to know what will happen next. Lark has this magical way of weaving her words that you get lost within them and this book does just that. I was so in love with the concept, the twists, the insanity. Just EVERYTHING! Yes my review is a bit vague… but to be honest, this is one of those books you just have to dive into. It is completely worth it and I cannot wait to read the second book!

Cole Blackwell
We’re about to enter the junior studio on the opposite side of the building when Mara catches up with me. “Excuse me!” she pants, her cheeks flaming pink. “Could I speak to Mr. Blackwell for a moment?” The other panel members turn to look at me, to see if I’ll comply. Sonia is particularly curious. She knew something was up the moment I told her to offer Mara the studio. The discounted rate was a fabrication, invented by me on the spot. The same with this grant. It’s all leverage to get Mara right where I want her: completely at my mercy. “Of course,” I say quietly. “The rest of you go on without me. I’ll join you momentarily.” I lead Mara down the hall to an empty studio several doors down. I step into the clean, deserted space. She hesitates in the doorway, afraid to be alone with me. “Are you coming?” I ask, eyebrow raised. Pressing her lips together, she marches into the room, closing the door behind her. I wait for her to speak, watching the rapid rise and fall of her chest, thrilling at the hectic spots of color on her cheeks. She’s illuminated with fury, eyes blazing, cheeks flaming. Her dark hair swirls around her face, defying gravity from the pure electric tension between us. Her thin hands tremble, and she digs her nails into the thighs of her jeans. “I know it was you,” she says, her voice low and hoarse. I’m enjoying this so much I can hardly stand it. Her rage, her fear, and the delicious predicament I put her in, all mixed together in a potent cocktail. Her expression of shock when she saw my face, and the awful struggle as she had to discuss her work with the panel, while her brain must have been twisting and turning inside her skull . . . I’m so glad I have it all recorded. I can’t wait to watch it over again tonight. “What was me?” I say mildly. “You know,” she hisses. Her whole body is shaking. I’d like to hold her against me, to feel those tremors vibrating through my frame . . . “Please explain.” Her eyes glint with tears of fury, but she refuses to let them fall. Her lips are swollen and chapped, as if she’s been biting at them . . . “Someone snatched me off the street. They tied me up, cut my wrists, and left me in the woods. You were there. I saw you. You stood over me, staring at me. You saw I needed help. And you walked right over me. You left me there to die.” “What a bizarre accusation,” I say. “Do you have any proof?” I know she doesn’t. I just want to see how she’ll respond. “I saw you,” she hisses. “I’ll tell the cops.” “I don’t think that’s a very good idea.” I tuck my hands in my pockets, tilting my head as I look at her. “That would cause a lot of problems for you. You’d lose the studio, of course. The grant, too.” “Are you threatening me?” Her voice rises, the edge of hysteria sharp as razor wire. “Why are you doing this? Why did you do this to me?” She holds up her arm so her loose bell sleeve drops away, revealing the long, jagged scar across the wrist. The scar is still healing, raised like a welt on the skin. “I didn’t do that,” I scoff. Mara falters, her upraised hand dropping an inch. Interesting—she doesn’t actually know who cut her. “You were there,” she insists. “So what if I was?” She startles, shocked that I admitted it. “Then you did this!” she shrieks. “No,” I growl. “I didn’t.” In one swift step, I close the space between us. Mara tries to turn and run, but I’m much too fast for her. I seize her by the arm, yanking her toward me, holding up that accusing hand and branded wrist. I look down into her terrified face, pinning her in place with my gaze as much as my fingers locked around her wrist. “There’s no limit on predators in the world,” I hiss. “And no lack of damaged girls to attract them.”
