Oh those whispering stars! My heart with this book. While the gauntlet was thrown to make me cry, I did get all up in my feels about this book without the tears. But fair warning, you will probably need the tissues. Black blew my mind with this story. From the concept, the emotions, to everything in between, I was lost in this world and I honestly do not want to leave. Sloane is such a breath of fresh air for a character. She is broken but so strong at the same time. She is a fighter but also breaks down when it is too much. Her connection with the other world is intense to say the least and seeing how it blended within the story had me giggling with Saylor, but also my heart breaking with other ones that she could see. Then the Jones brothers that are breathing will keep you on your toes. They are such polarizing men that you want to love one, hate another and just want to smack upside the head the third! But learning why they are the way they are. It is a raw story with that family.
Whisper Waves is one of those books that will have you in a grip hold and you are begging to find out more. I could not put this down once I started and I am so in love with it. From the emotional moments, the intense spicy ones, and to those moments that will leave you breathless, looking at you last chapter, this story will have you completely swept away into the waves and begging for those echoes to come!
