After getting Knox’s story, I have been dying to get my hands on Kane’s and I was not disappointed. Ivy is a spitfire under that reserved persona and oh does she give Kane a run for his money. I loved their banter and their connection when they just talked to each other. They just fit together. Ivy and her crush then Kane worried what others would think of the age gap made things more intense between these two and made for a very sizzling moment. There is a little drama which makes for some awkward moments and adds to the depth of the story but I can honestly say I devoured it in one sitting. I even ignored my coffee for this one and that says a lot! I love love love this series and I cannot wait to get Kaitlyn’s story but I am not ready for this series to end!

I have been dying to get my hands on this book because I was so intrigued about the whole situation between Luca and Raven and I was not disappointed. It is raw, passionate and intense but oh so forbidden at the time. We delve into the history but the present is just everything between these two. There is this thread that connects these two and regardless of the history, the age gap and so much more, they are so tightly bound to each other and you cannot help but get caught up in your feels with them. I loved the concept, the tension, the passion and the little raw moments that add to the depth of the story. I adore this series but I think Luca has my heart out of all the brothers!

Oh my stars. Where do I begin with this one? I liked it, I mean, really liked it. Is that bad? Is that good? I mean, this was my first real monsterish romance because vamps and shifters do not count in my books. But holy intense spice and twisty lore that Black has created for us. That connection even prior to the events leading up to Incubus Promise was so strong between Drew and Aegan. As things progress, that connection is beyond intense and just these two together was pure fire. Even with that ending, I wanted more. I am dying to get my hands on more in this world and yeah. I really liked it. I just couldn’t get enough!

This is one of those books that begs to be read and just push yourself through it to figure out what is going on. Between the cat and mouse psychological mind bender to have yourself questioning everything! And that ending?? My stars! This is the first book I have read by this author and I am so invested in these two that I am dying for more!
