I live for Hargrove’s words and Perfect Stranger delivered on so many levels. It is twisty, intense and raw with a level of intrigue wrapped up in the small town world. Seeing that connection between Miller and Mariah is intense and sizzling right from the start, regardless of how it all came about. With everything Mariah has been through trying to protect her daughter and start living again. With Miller, he handles her so carefully as well as her daughter. The connection and banter was perfect and I adored every part of this story!

This is one of those stories that was 100% unexpected and so beautiful at the same time. Arch enemies in high school due to Troy doing Aspyn’s bestie dirty get thrown together in the most unexpected way and leads to hilarity, swoon moments and a lot of raw emotions that bleed within these pages. Ward delivers a stunning redemption story for Troy as well as Aspyn in some ways. But their chemistry is undeniable as they fight it so hard. Feelings build and there is a lot unloaded between them. But how it all plays out is stunning and I could not get enough of these two. Especially when Nonno was up to his antics!

I have to say, The Assignment is right up there with my love for Room Hate and that one has been my all time fave by Ward since it released. There is so much angst, emotion and pain plus intense sizzle and raw love between Troy and Aspyn. I highly recommend this one!

Another amazing read in this fabulous series!
Holt and Theo are absolutely delicious and I was here for it! Between the super hot steamy scenes and all the angst, I couldn’t put it down.
If you haven’t read any of the others in this series, this one can be read as a standalone. But I highly recommend reading them all as they are all fantastic.

I think the one thing that stood out the most to me with this install me of the Only One series is how fierce and independent Franny is. She knows what she wants, what needs to be done and doesn’t take anything from anyone else. I adored how chill she was when things happened especially when the scandal dropped. She is one of those down to earth people who goes with the flow and she is beyond one of my faves for that. I think that is one thing that baffled Wilson. How she was unflappable. But how much he wanted to protect from everything was just swoon worthy. There is a lot of wit and banter entangled with intense spicy scenes that will have you fanning yourself. Great addition to the series!
